David Gilmour of Pink Floyd Talks Dark Side of the Moon & The EMS Synthi A

I saw this posted up on the MPC Forums and just had to share it. In this video David Gilmour talks about sequencing the Synthi A (AKS?) during the Dark Side of the Moon sessions.

A few years back I got to see Roger Waters perform Dark Side of the Moon in Seattle’s Key Arena and I remember staring at the EMS VCS3 synthesizer on stage and wishing I could get my hands on one!

The closest I’ve ever gotten to an EMS Synthi was at the Modular Synthesizer Symposium back in 2010, Vancouver. Here is a picture of that…
